Salvaged Stuff
updated: Jun 12, 2011, 6:21 AM
Is there anyone in town who specializes in architectural salvage products in town? I
am thinking of re-doing a fireplace, and would like to re-use a nice vintage mantle. I
know about Habitat for Humanity's store, but don't know if they would be likely to
have antique or salvaged wood work.

Go to the Re-Store--they have oodles of interesting salvage, doors and windows, etc, etc., at very reasonable prices. Check them first before going to an expensive hardware place. You'll be supporting a great organization, Habitat for Humanity SB.

Check Craig's List. My daughter got many products for her remodel. Also, might help to ask Marborg
