I would not recommend special ordering ANYTHING from Home Depot! Habitat for Humanity is on Hollister in the Goleta Industrial lot... Just after the Kmart shopping center ( if you are headed south) You can also order one from Channel City Lumber 35 Aero Camino......... John from Aero Camino Pipe moved his place next to the liquor store at the weird corner of Fairview/Hollister...ish. He may have one.

If you're willing to drive, Habitat for Humanity has numerous ReStores in California, including one in Oxnard and another in Santa Maria.

went through this with a 70 Gal a couple yrs ago. OSH can be good if they happen to have one. Home Depot has a lousy selection on special order and you're lucky to find even one in stock. Central Supply in Isla Vista (yup, IV) is good if they are open, but can be pricy if you have to ask them to open after hours. I love to buy from John and Fairview Supply (formerly Aero Camino Supply), but I neede one on a Sunday late afternoon and got lucky at Home Depot. It has a mediocre recovery time, and has bad insulation (so it is really fat big outside for only 70 gallons and barely fits in the intended spot and still eats way too much gas). I may special order one from Fairview Supply or Central Supply that works better some day and sell you my Home Depot special. . . cheap.
