Scanner Report - June 6
updated: Jun 06, 2011, 5:45 AM

By Roger the scanner guy

Well it's Monday, rainy days and Mondays don't always get me down but I have always loved that song. Rainy days and Mondays are considered to be depressing in some ways I am somewhat depressed but SNOT because of rainy days or Mondays.

My sister had a medical emergency over the weekend. They don't really know what it is. She has seizures, she had one and became unresponsive.

She's in ICU and now in one of those thingys where they put you to sleep. They are going to wake her up tomorrow, her vitals are normal so they think she will be ok. My niece Nicole is my sister's youngest kid. She's 20 years old goes to school, works full time has a child of her own and is heading to Police Academy.

On top of everything else she is her mother's caregiver. She's the only one there with her mom at the hospital. We're all communicating via phones, cell phones, computers, Facebook. Most of us are out of state my mother is there and too old to drive herself. Now my sister is pretty much stable, it looks like everything's going to be OK. I'm really proud of my niece for being there for her mother.

She and her boyfriend Dylan are hanging out at the hospital - everything she does school, work, shes going to be a copper. Good Kid I can't seem to shake this from my head. So there's no Roger's Lectures, or Thoughts this Monday. Lucky for all of you.
