Went to a book signing that was catered by Los Arroyos. Don't know if it was Montecito or Santa Barbara.

There is a great operation in town. They will trailer there grills to your location and set up a taco making operation on location.

I am sorry I don't remember their name. If you contact the management at Red's in the Funk Zone, they could tell you since they have used them for events at Reds.

El Zarape Mexican Food. They bring their taco truck, friendlyh personnel and the best setup of anyone in town. Reasonable prices.

La Colmena on Milpas. More reasonably priced and tastier than Los Arroyos, fresh tortillas made to order on site. Lots of meat and some veg options.

Though they can't cook the tacos at the party for you I know of many happy customers that have had New Baja Grill in the Camino Real Marketplace cater their 'Taco parties'. Baja prepares all of the food for you and then you set it up and the guests are able to make tacos however they like them, and you can also get rice and beans to go with them. You just tell them what ingredients you want and for how many people you plan on serving.

My coworker was going to have a 'taco lady' cater a new year's party for him but she cancelled at the last minute and he ened up being much happier with the price and the quality from Baja. If you call just make sure you ask for Jaime the manager.

Super Cucas prepared the food for my retirement party on Saturday. My three children looked extensively, and decided to use them as it was reasonable. Turned out to be the right choice. We had fifty guests, and enough food. Delicious!

Super Cucas is great! Food was excellent and the price cannot be beat! About $4/person.

I have used Los Arroyos on several occassions for exactly a taco party for 50+ people and they always go above and beyond for the customers!

We've used Pedro & Noe Vargas at our work Christmas parties and they are great. Very reasonable, good authentic Mexican food. 805-886-8876 (Pedro who doesn't speak very much English) or 805-452-2893 (Noe who speaks fluent English). They set everything up, cook, serve, and clean up. They also offer juices such as horchata, jamaica, etc. They are probably more authentic and cost effective than the restaurants that do catering.

Just had THE best tacos just last week catered by a mobile taco guy (maybe same guy mentioned above). Got his card and will definitely use him for our own event sometime:
