Mother is a magic word.
One that we have often heard.
It's qualities we sometimes find,
Can overload the human mind.
The Love that is its foremost gift,
Gives all our hearts a needed lift.
Then when we deal with day to day,
It smooths our lives in every way.
The mothering that's in my life,
All comes from my sweet caring wife.
On every day she works along,
To make my life the sweetest song.
So to her, and to no other,
Go all the thanks that are due a Mother.
