Years ago, I was an agent in Hollywood. I worked with some of the biggest names in show business, and was very well thought of. I have many mementos of those days - photos, letters, magazine articles- but choose to display only a single photo of one of my most famous clients, who was also a close friend.

Recently, an acquaintance asked about the picture, and seemed surprised when I said I had been a well-known agent. He asked to see other photos, etc., as if he was expecting me to prove it. I was offended and suggested that they were personal, and he should take my word. I think he was very rude to insist. Do you?
