Hobbes

Hobbes is a very special orange girl kitty with a funny meow. When she meows, a
tiny "eh" sound is all she makes. She is the perfect little lap kitty, and she
loves to sit in your lap and purr for hours. She loves running tap water, and has
the somewhat annoying habit of begging to drink it from the faucet. She lives
with her sister Charlie, whom she shares a somewhat tenuous relationship (the
occasional hissing spat), but when they're getting along, they enjoy hunting for
spiders, watching birds out the window and lounging in the sun. They have been my
companions since I was in college, and they made the cross-country move with me
from Kansas City to Santa Barbara (travelling with two cats across the country
makes for a rather interesting drive!). Her vet in Kansas used to say that
"orange cats are the sweetest," and I have to agree!
