Finish Carpenter

Referral request for a finish carpenter. We had an existing baseboard stringer/skirt up the stairway of our town home. The carpenter apparently installed it on top of the existing carpet. We have subsequently installed new carpet that has a lower stack, thus we now have various size gaps between the stairs and the stringer. Any recommendations for a skilled finish carpenter to fix the issue?
