Meathead Movers. They were awesome. I've used them for a move in Santa Maria, my sister used them to get stuff from Goleta to Santa Maria and my best friend used them when she moved in Santa Barbara. They were the best: clean, responsible, friendly, did what they said they'd do, kept to their schedule as promised, called to check up after the move. They were on time and their estimates were accurate, no surprises and no breakage. I would not use anyone else after my experience with them.

ask where they hire their employees and if they are bonded. one of the moving companies used to and still may hire guys in prison half-way houses.

I recommend Ivan's Moving 805-636-9707. They were super reasonably priced and did a great job, they were also very nice. Meathead was super expensive when quoting to move only a few pieces of furniture from Turnpike to storage at Patterson a few years ago.

Jared's Piano Movers are amazing! The phone number is (805) 453-2561. These guys have moved me all over the country! I have never had anything scratched or broken and they never did any damage to any walls or corners when moving either. They have amazing customer service!

We used Arturo's Moving for an in-town move and were quite happy with them. Showed up on time, took good care to protect property, pleasant workers, half the cost of others. Bonded, insured, etc.
