560 - Ditto. Don't wate your money. You can get a brand new sink that will last a long time by shopping around at places like: Home Depot, OSH, Todd Pipe & Supply (Buellton) or any number of plumbing supply houses that will all sell to the public. Don't be afraid to "talk turkey" with these places too! Let us know what you ended up doing.

I second Bathcrest. Michael resurfaced our very old bathtub and sink and did an excellent job.

I concur with those that advised agsint recoating options. We bought a house with a freshly refinished sink. It started to peel within 3 months. 12 months later it is in tatters that not only look hideous, but also harbor all manner of unspeakable bacteria. It's disgusting enough to prevent us from having parties until it is replaced.

We're in a similar position to Thinkwell. I cringe when I use the tub and bathroom sink. Unless you're willing to re-use the old basins by tearing them out and having a real re-porcelain job done and done well, replacement is the best option.

"Miracle Method" I hope is still in business. In Pasadena,; I had all my clients refinish their tubs and sinks.....because they were "period"! Also works on tile! Penelope
