I am happy to recommend Mario Gonzalez. I found him through a neighbor that was very happy with his work. He painted my house, exterior and interior. He is honest, reliable and pays exceptional attention to detail. He wants to make sure you, his customer, is satisfied; he knows it is through referral that his next job comes. He is happy to use your paint (no mark-up) - you can go to Dunn-Edwards and with his name, the painters discount will be applied to your purchase. Since English is not his first language, communicating can be a challenge. However, he can tell you how much, how many days and if anything changes, he tells you right away. He stayed in touch with me throughout the job and I was very pleased with his work. I referred him to a workmate that was also happy with the job Mario did. I will hire Mario again, the next time I need painting done!

if you want a perfect job - meticulous - call john at purling & weber. they have been in sb for a long time and do high end work as well as commercial. they alway have excellent advice on colors too.

I highly recommend Adan Miranda and his brother David Miranda. They did a meticulous job at my home and are so decent and punctual. They have a very friendly attitude and clean up after each job. My home looks brand new thanks to them.

We just used Robert at Affordable Painting on a six figure project. They did a great job and were good to work with. He wasn't on site as much as he said he would be, but the guys who did the work did a good job.

I absolutely have a recommendation: Jim Alexander. He's reasonable, very dependable, does superb work and cleans up after his workday everyday. I work at home and did not feel an intrusion because he works quietly, that means no radio blaring all day. I found about him through a friend and several friends use his services. BTW, he grew up here in SB and is a font of great information.

Donald Jaimes is one of the nicest, most honest, hardworking men you'll ever meet! His wife owns Kingston's Candy Store on upper State Street. He does excellent work. I don't have his cell number as he is my husband's friend, but I have personally seen his work and can attest to him as a person. Call Sarah Jaimes at Kingston's Candy to get in touch with Donald. Get an estimate at least!

Russell Long is an artist! He has done several interior jobs for us, and we have seen his work on several other condos and houses. He is a perfectionist, his work the very best. Also can give you wonderful "designer" advice on colors and finishes.
