Way to go, Ed! The March Edness photo on Friday was of a motorhome! Let's see, where could it be … parked along Cabrillo Blvd, in a motorhome park, or maybe down in Ventura by the beach? There are a zillion motorhomes in Santa Barbara. Ed, how could you be so cruel?
Well, it turns out that this motorhome is on one of the busiest streets in town, and it has been there for many years, and the "Way to Go" sign in the front has bigger font than a New-Press headline, and there is also a smaller "Way to Go "in the back. The only way you couldn't have seen this vehicle while driving past is if you were texting or talking on the phone.
Way to Go is parked on the upper-side of APS, right where it intersects Cota. If you drive east on Cota and never turn, you will eventually run right into this motorhome. Sure, it goes on the road a couple of weeks a year, but Way to Go is pretty much a fixture in Santa Barbara … like the Fig Tree and the Edhat Dog.
