I was wondering if any subscribers could recommend an automotive shop to take a Range Rover. I want to avoid the dealer and haven't had good luck with 'Under the hood Automotive' downtown. Thanks for your input.

I can second "The Garage" in Goleta, In addition to Critter Mooney, East West's former technician, they have a great Senior Technician, John Horton. They both do very good work!

Roy sold his land rover repair business to Jaya at "Under the Hood" who does a good job. Critter, Roy's old mechanic is at The Garage now but did work for Jaya for awhile. Stay away from the dealer if at all possible!

I'm surprised there are not more Land Rover mechanics listed here; at the rate those cars need to be in the shop, a mechanic should be able to make a fortune!

East West no longer works on Rovers. Jaya at Under the Hood, right around the corner from EastWest took over his part of the Rover biz.... does a great job.

He works on my 1965 Jag, and is good with Range
Rovers also.
