updated: Feb 17, 2011, 6:13 PM

Where can I find a traditional omelette in SB? Not looking for the typical "scramble" but an authentic omelette. Thanks.

Breakwater, down at the harbor. Great patio view, too.

Summerland Beach Cafe, Jeannine's or Esau's (though the latter is a bit more on the greasy side than the gourmet, but still good.)

I'd take a chance on Renaud's, but otherwise I never order omelets out, can make much better at home ...

Steve's Patio Cafe on de la Vina makes an excellent omelet. It's not on the menu, but they will make a Chile Verde omelet with Pepper Jack that always gets my weekend off to a great start!

Domingo's in old town Goleta has a good Santa Barbara omelet (just lose the olives) and it's affordable. Good coffee too.

Sadly, Mousse Odile left years ago. Wonderful REAL French food.

Cajun' Kitchen is affordable, fixed the way you want, and a great choice. Can get grilled with the Cajun sauce or cottage cheese in lieu of other sides that come with the order. Really good coffee.
