Try the little souvenir shops around the Harbour, near Moby Dick's etc. Years ago there was a nice linen shop in El Paseo but of course is long gone. Solvang may be another source.

Long's was great.

CVS is so mundane & run-of-the-mill, it's not funny.

Talk about one dead looking store

I just bought two at Lewis and Clark last week. They have mission scenes. Very cute.

Echo the Italian Pottey Outlet. Their SB tea towels are so unique and of such high quality that I sent some for Xmas gifts. Located on State near theaters too.

Where is the Green and Yellow Basket or Mrs Lu's Chinese Store when you need it!

Treasure Hunt in Carp definitely has California tea towels. I bought some recently from them. But they are the kind of reproduction old map of California that you see in linens from the 1950s. Bright primary colors and little icons (like the SB Mission) to denote each stop along the "route" shown on the towel design.

They didn't have actual pictures of SB.

If you want to make your own, Craft Essentials in town sells transfer paper and a special glue-like medium that lets you transfer plain old pictures printed from your computer onto fabric.

The Green and Yellow Basket is still in its place on State Street, with its eclectic collection. But I don't recall tea towels.

I've seen them at Lewis & Clarke on State St.
