After losing our precious black lab Luna to old age, we recently adopted again
from the same rescue agency, the excellent SCLRR. We adopted our wonderful Cassie,
a "senior" gal, just turned eleven. She is deaf, and also, has old nerve damage on
one side of her face, giving a very funny look - we call her our "twisted sister."
She is a fabulous companion, polite and loving with an infectious happiness. Here
she is, with her "silly sit," twisted little face, and adorable loveliness. We are
so happy we adopted a senior dog - she has added so much to our family.
