I am moving out of my apartment and need a recommendation for a professional, high-quality cleaning service who specializes in move-in/move-out? Can anyone help out?

You can take your choice of cleaning services...most are thorough and equally expensive. And most don't do carpets. So if you need a great carpet cleaner to boot, call Alfonso Lazaro at 805-451-8591. No one beats his prices and he and his sons do a great job.

Del Bonis for carpets, Master Care for the rest of the house. I agree with the boo on Sylvia's. Stay well clear.

If you have carpets, I manage some units and have used a lot of places finally settled on Star Rug Cleaners they have done the best job. They cost a little more but I only use them now due to the quality of their work.

Thank you. Good to know about Star Rug Cleaners. I used them 40 years ago and did not know they were still around. I have used Coleman's since John started the business and they are good. Like Star a little more expensive, but reliable.

Try calling Juan at (805) 570-4893. Very thorough, reliable, and you get what you pay for. You get exactly what you ask for. I have worked with Juan for more than twenty years, and he and his "no nonsense" employees will do a great job.

I have used and like Continental Janitorial Service. I have used them to clean a rental house and it sparkled when they were done. I had one issue I was not happy about and they came back within an hour to fix it.

Once when I was hobbling around on crutches & company was coming, I hired Karens. Totally professional, they could do more or less, depending on what I asked for. Maybe Master Care is better, I have no comparison, but would hire Karens again.

I recommend Claudio Bintrup (Smart Cleaning). Small operation, nice people, and inexpensive. They've cleaned our office since 1991. 345-0037.

Thanks for all of the input. Based on the above, I priced Master Care and Karen's. Karen's was significantly less, so I went with them, including carpets. I will let you know how it goes. Although, I have already convinced the landlord to refund my full deposit. Thanks again.

I have used Rosie's Cleaning Service, but now I"m concerned since no one mentioned her company. I may switch after reading these comments.

Diana's Cleaning Service is excellant, comes to you with 30 years experience. She works by herself, is honest, dependable, has a S.B. city business license, has good references, can work with or without her own supplies and equipment. She does move in/or outs, weekly, bi-monthly, whatever your needs might be. She has been in S.B. area since 1970. She does residential, offices, takes care of pets & mail while your away on a trip. She is very professional.

Stay away from Anacapa Cleaning. They did a below average job. When I called with a question after the work was done, owner David Cohen was extremely threatening and abusive. It was the worst experience I've ever had with a company. Karen's Cleaning and Rosies Cleaning are both good.

Rosie's cleaning is reputable and reliable cleaning service in Santa Barbara Area, I used to call her for regular cleanings, I liked the way she cleans and her serious workers too.

Do not use queen of clean service, this is the worst company ever hired in my house, their worker broke my crystal vase, the owner and his wife called me to replace it but they have never done it. I tried to call them several times but they don't answer my call.
