Toro Nursery in Carp has excellent trees and for a really good price. They are on Foothill near Cravens Lane.

130128P: I believe it's La Sumida. Really nice place. And you'll be close to Lane Farms (around the corner on Hollister & Walnut, behind the Shell), so you can hit both places if the 1st one doesn't have what you are looking for.

I'm always amazed how much $ people will spend for a dead plant...

When I drove by the Page Youth Center on Hollister today I noticed a sign for Noble firs 1/3 off. Not sure what the price is, though.

Last year I bought mine at Home Depot at the last minute and they even gave me a free poinsetta plant. Also, check craigslist. I have seen two free ones on there from families leaving town.

Check Craigslist. Sometimes people give away their trees because they're going out of town.

. 7 Day Nursery rules! Always good to shop local, of course. Guy at SB Bowl was a d... ermmm,"difficult." Would NEVER go back there. Lots of people--including me--leaving--guess he'll be sending those trees back to Oregon?
