Sand Art

I do a bit of walking on wet sand hiking along the Central
Coast of California.
Through the years I've accumulated an array of random sand/water photos and filed
them under the title "Nature's Art", never really sure what I'd do with them. I
just recently discovered that the art is sometimes referred to as "sand trees" and
"sand art". I thought it'd be fun to share the concept, in the event you weren't
aware of it.
When significant tidal changes happen, water slowly seeps
back to the ocean making
an interesting floral-like etching in the sand. I'm sure there's a better
explanation to the whole process; I just find the imagery and symmetry of the
water and sand interesting and artistic.
