This is Carly, my grandmother's rescue cat. She's not the sweetest or the most energetic cat in the world, but she is a great companion for my grandma. I know she's loved because she gets to sit on all the furniture.

tiger kitties (my English mom called them mackeral cats) are THE best kitties. The ultimate in 'cool' expressions and temperment.

I, too, am a grandma, and have a companion kitty who is pure black and now 19 years old. I believe she lives on love. I think it's very important that most folks have a loyal pet. She is good for my health, and a constant source of comfort for me. Here's to companion animals!
