The Turtle or the Hare

Dear Edda,
My husband refuses to learn the difference between a turtle and a tortoise. When his friends come over, he shows them our pet turtle, and last weekend while I was gone, he tried to let my desert tortoise swim in the bathtub. Poor Derek almost drowned! On Monday, he drove to a pet store in Ventura to buy, "another turtle to keep Derek company." Derek is not a turtle! While he was there, he also picked up a couple of fish.
Now I have a tortoise and a turtle, and two neon tetras, and a husband who just doesn't get it. Do you think he really loves me?
