Carrot

Carrot is 18 and now in failing health, end of life ceremony (to preserve her dignity, avoid pain and humiliation) scheduled for Tuesday.
Carrot was acquired as a kitten at Ray's Garden Supply, Ashland, Oregon; and moved with us to Bainbridge Island, then here to Santa Barbara.
She used to follow us on short hikes near our home in Ashland, then on walks on Bainbridge. Often sat outside our home on the Mesa and enjoyed being petted and admired by neighbors walking by.
