Powdrell's Harbor Views

The Santa Barbara Harbor has to be among the most beautiful and interesting places to take photographs, especially for amateur hacks like me.
Salty old fishermen, masts and cables swaying back and forth to gentle wave action, and colorful boats lined up in a somewhat random semblance of order.
I'm always captivated by the sounds and smells at the harbor, too. Gulls squawking, waves breaking against the seawall and sea urchins being crated for transport to far away lands.
Reflections of palm trees and sailboat masts on the water always intrigue me.
If you're ever feeling melancholy, bee-line it down to the harbor. And bring along your camera.
