Chairman Meow

He is the best cat ever. I say this not only because I know this to be true, but because the CAT seems pretty sure of it too. That is why he meows all of the time. I mean ALL of the time.
He meows when he is happy. He meows when he is hungry. He meows when he wakes up and stretches. He meows when he is irritated. He meows when he sees birds outside the window. He meows when he wants attention, ESPECIALLY when he wants attention. He meows so much, and so insistently, that we named him Chairman Meow because he simply will not be ignored.
This works out well for us, because
1. He has the sweetest meow in the world
2. He is the happiest cat I have ever seen
3. He has added an incalculable value to my world
No matter what kind of day I have had, I know that as I am parking my car, he is in the house, by the front door, waiting patiently there for me. When I come in and set down my stuff, he jumps onto my shoulders, settling down, and meowing between purrs to say "Hi. I'm hungry. Feed me. And boy I am glad to see you."
