The Angry Ocean Today

The ocean has some fickle moods and today she's downright angry. I'm probably politically incorrect using the word "she", but I think of her as Mother Nature and I really like her, so there's my justification. Work with me on this.
Anywho, at the crack of dawn today with my Starbucks venti in tow, I mad dashed to Rincon. I was expecting to see a jam packed parking lot in light of the 3 massive storms we're right smack dab in the middle of. Instead, I found 3 subcompacts and no surfboards anywhere in sight. Seems to be my luck of late.
My next self-imposed assignment before I finish the coffee: Try to capture the mood of Mother Nature when she's riled up like this. They're marginal photos that don't do her justifiation, (they miss the roar of the surf and the smell of the mist), but maybe, just maybe you'll get a feel for her power and anger with these pictures.
And as angry and riled up as she is, she's always a thing of pure beauty.
Enjoy.
