City voters have 5 days to drop off ballots

Five Days Remaining Until Election Day
SANTA BARBARA, CA - 10/29/2009 - There are five (5) days remaining until Election Day in the City of Santa Barbara. The City's upcoming election will be a Vote-By-Mail General Municipal Election, which will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009.
Voters are encouraged to deliver their ballots to the City Clerk's Office at 735 Anacapa Street, during regular business hours or deliver their ballots in person to any of the seven Drop-Off Centers on:
Saturday, October 31, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and
Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2009, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The City Clerk's Office drop-off center will be open daily, Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Fridays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Extended Hours: The City Clerk's Office will be open for election-related business on:
Friday, October 30, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and
Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Ballots must be received by the City Clerk's Office no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Postmarks do not count.
