Santa Barbara Beautiful

The Santa Barbara Beautiful awards were well attended Sunday night at the Music Academy. Here's a list of the winners, and photos of the event.
The winners:
Desmond O’Neill (local runner, attorney, and all-around good guy) received the Jacaranda Award: For Outstanding Community Service.
Patrick Davis, known for his artistic vision, received the Heritage Oak Award for Lifetime Achievement.
Grant Castleberg, credited with the creation of Alice Keck Park Park, received the Moreton Bay Fig Award for a body of work and service to the community.
The Santa Barbara Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation received the Playa de Santa Barbara Award for its environmental leadership.
The President’s Award was presented to The Music Academy of the West for the renovation of Hahn Hall, the beautiful building in which the event was held.
The Annual Business and Art Award was presented by the City Arts Advisory Council to the Santa Barbara Independent for "serving as a catalyst in promoting the arts by focusing on regional artists and providing increased opportunities and visibility for local artists and arts nonprofits."
