I want to say thanks to all my supporters, friends and family for their appreciation of this trip, and to my stylist Eric for his nice comment above (he gives great haircuts!).. I am very lucky to have been able to continue in journalism in Santa Barbara County, most recently thanks to the generous support of Peter Sklar and Edhat. Please email us your news tips at ed@edhat.com!

I used to love Trees of Mystery when I was a kid. They also had the "World's Smallest Bar" there which I believe my parents loved.
