Why do the police allow tent camping on the beach right there at the end of Milpas St? Sometimes I see three or four tents there, after dark.

I don't know perhaps because there are so many campers they at least know where some are...Either way this was not a Homeless involved crime.

It's disgraceful. Same as the tents right along the freeway. Whole campgrounds set up, with laundry drying on the fence and little grills set up. Old mattresses strewn about.

Take the Surfliner train from SLO to San Diego. The tracks along Santa Barbara have by far the most homeless camps set up right between the freeway and the train. You will see people urinating and defecating, drinking, fighting, cooking. It starts when you hit Goleta and it stops when you get past Carpinteria. You don't see those camps in LA or San Diego or any place in between. Can you imagine what tourists think???

Who cares what they think with our new president there will be many more camps up people are just living their lives there best way they can leave them alone.
