Philip S. Gadon
updated: Mar 20, 2017, 8:00 AM

Philip S. Gadon passed away on 3/11/17. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Adams Gadon; his daughter, Shana Gadon; his brothers Chris Gadon and Casey Thigpen; his sisters Debbie Redavid and Tammy Von Taborski; his cousin Daniel Gadomski; and several nieces and nephews. Philip was born to MAJ Douglas Thigpen, USA Retired and Angela Gadon on 10/22/54. He spent his early years as an Army brat moving as duty called until his family settled in Falls Church, VA. Phil made the journey out west around 18 years old and spent many years in Southern CA before moving to Santa Barbara, CA in 1984, where he fell in love with the Painted Cave community and resided there until his death.

Phil loved his work as a Journeyman Electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 413 (IBEW) and the brotherhood that it formed over his 26 plus year career.  There will be a Celebration of Life for him on 4/1/17 from 11-3 at Goleta Beach Park, Group Site A. In lieu of flowers and since Phil loved food, the family is asking for those who want to contribute to bring a potluck item to share.
