March 19, 2017 - Fed to the K-Mart

Edhatters discussed the many places that used to inhabit the current K-Mart in Goleta. Discofair, TwoGuys, and FedMart are the places most edhatters could pinpoint from the past.

Our Cat of the Week is Gigi, a cute kitty who loves to be brushed. Our Dog of the Week is Copper, an adoptable pup who loves St. Patrick's Day. Our Non-Profit of the Week is Above All Aviation who just launched a program at La Cuesta High School. The ornamental Purple-Leaf Plum Tree is a lovely focal point in any garden.

The surfers and skaters at the Surf Museum would have been excited had they known the unassuming man with the telephoto lens was Craig Stecyk, whose life is portrayed in the film 'Dogtown.'

Paradise Road was closed, but Tom still took the opportunity to take a ride and enjoy a special place. [pics]
