PUBLIC INVITED TO LEARN ABOUT LINDEN-CASITAS INTERCHANGE PROJECT

CARPINTERIA – The public is invited to attend an information meeting on the Linden Road/Casitas Pass Road Interchange Projects on Monday, March 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Canalino Elementary School Cafeteria at 1480 Linden Avenue in Carpinteria.
The public is encouraged to visit at any time during this information meeting. There will be a formal presentation at 6:00 pm. The public may review design concepts, learn about the recently completed Draft Environmental Impact Report and review various displays. Caltrans staff will be available to answer questions from the public.
Caltrans, the City of Carpinteria and the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments (SBCAG) are co-sponsoring this project, designed to improve safety and traffic flow on local streets and the Linden–Casitas Pass Interchanges near Hwy. 101.
