January 11, 2017 - Feeding Frenzy

As a bait ball bobs a beckoning call, this feeding frenzy flocks to create quite a shock! Mark captures thousands pelicans, cormorants, gulls, and black-vented shearwaters diving, dipping, and pecking at anchovies and mackerels below. Harbor Seals, California Sea Lions and a pod of Bottlenose Dolphins attack from underneath creating a gorging of this school of fish. What a sight!
