PUBLIC INVITED TO LEARN ABOUT HWY. 192 BRIDGE PROJECT

CARPINTERIA – The public is invited to an Open House/Public Hearing on the Hwy. 192 Arroyo Parida Creek Bridge Replacement Project on Wednesday, March 4 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Canalino Elementary School Cafeteria at 1480 Linden Avenue in Carpinteria.
This project would replace the Arroyo Parida Creek Bridge, widen the roadway on both sides of the bridge, raise the profile of the roadway west of the bridge to improve sight distance, upgrade an existing culvert crossing and modify the creek bed on each side of the bridge.
The public may visit at any time during this open house to learn about the Initial Study which shows the project will not have a significant affect on the environment and to review design features of the project. Caltrans staff will be available to answer questions from the public.
