Taco Bell Project - Draft Negative Declaration released today
The City has released for review the Draft Negative Declaration (ND) for the proposed Taco Bell Restaurant with drive through facility and trash enclosure, located in the University Plaza Shopping Center at the corner of Hollister Avenue and Pacific Oaks Road (APN 073-440-012). The public review period for the Draft ND is from August 21st through 5pm on September 9th of 2014.

Further details are available in the Notice of Availability of Draft Negative Declaration and in the Draft ND posted on the City's website here.

CDs are available for purchase, and hard copies are available for review or purchase from the Planning and Environmental Review Department at City Hall, 130 Cremona Drive, Suite B, Goleta. A reference copy is also available at the Goleta Public Library.

Hollister Avenue Crosswalk Improvements Update
On Tuesday, August 19, the Goleta City Council received an update on the Hollister Avenue Crosswalk Improvements planned near the Goleta Valley Community Center. You can watch the presentation here. You can find the staff report here. You may recall that the City received a Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program grant of $179,000 for this project.
