Sierra Club Potluck

Last Sunday the Sierra Club had our annual potluck breakfast and beach walk. The breakfast was in the
middle of Shoreline Park.
People made a variety of home made delicacies, including quiche, pastries and fruit salads!
Then we did a short beach walk loop down to the Harbor. One highlight of the walk is the beautiful bike
and pedestrian path from Shoreline Park down to the beach below. It was one of the rare enlightened cases
where roadway was removed to make way for pedestrians and cyclists!
The Wine and Roses Regatta at the beach added a colorful array of sailboats to the scene!
All were welcome and we had visitors coming to meet, greet, mingle and enjoy the pleasant outdoors! A
special welcome to the EF Language School students!
Here are my photos!
By the way... If you are wondering about the long lapse in my postings... I am back now from a month of
travels. It started in Brisbane, Australia for a scientific convention. Then, on to many more adventures,
including snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef and in even more tropical waters.
