Lt. Arnoldi Celebrates 40 Years with the SBSD
updated: Aug 19, 2014, 8:27 PM

By John Palminteri

Lt. Butch Arnoldi was honored today by Sheriff Bill Brown, his co-workers and family for 40 years at the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department. Arnoldi said he still enjoys the job tremendously and looks forward to combining his "old school" approach to crime fighting with the new technology. No retirement plans are on the horizon, at least for two more years. Arnoldi also currently serves at the Chief of Police for the City of Goleta. Each year he also coordinates the Special Olympics Torch Run and Tip a Cop events.
