Today's Weather - Sunny. Highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s except around 80 in the hills. Southeast winds around 15 mph in the morning.

August 18, 2014 - Snake Fight!

A subscriber stumbled upon an interesting fight in nature this weekend, king snake vs. rattlesnake. Based on the witness account, the King Snake most definitely won and was working on consuming the competitor. Sometimes it's easy to forget the vast amount of nature surrounding Santa Barbara. The hills are rich with wildlife of varying species, just another aspect of Santa Barbara's unique area.
