August 17, 2014 - New Words, SMH

The Oxford Dictionary is constantly surprising the general public with the list of new words allowed into their linguistic anthology. Ten new words were added this month and Ed was curious which words subscribers thought were the best, and which were the worst. Take the poll here! Currently "YOLO" and "adorbs" are topping the Worst Word chart while "binge- watching" is cruising towards Best Word. After reviewing all of the words and their definitions, the Dedicated Staff were curious if they could fit them all into one sentence relating to Santa Barbara. They gave it shot and it goes something like this... "After binge-watching the latest cray season of Downton Abbey, the adorbs Dedicated Staff created a listicle of hilarious vaping neck beard and side boob shots from State Street, sure that subscribers would think YOLO and provide several humblebrag comments, they merely replied, "SMH. " Did that make sense? We didn't think so. Don't forget to take our poll and comment about the decline/incline of the English language.
