Data Conversion
updated: Aug 07, 2014, 1:30 PM

I'm hoping someone out in EDHAT land can refer me to a company that can take about 800 emails (msg. files) some with attachments, and convert them to PDFs, along with the attachments. I know I can do it but I'm on a deadline and need some help. I would of course prefer a local company but I'm willing to farm it to someone outside the area. Thanks for your help.

If you have these messages in Outlook or if you can configure Outlook to connect to the mail server they are stored on, you can select them all, right click, and click "convert to PDF". The message text will end up in a PDF and the attachments will be attached to the respective PDF.

I would put an ad for Computer Services Wanted on Craig's List. I've had good luck there with that kind of need.

I can do that for you. I have the skill and the software necessary.

There are a number of good local computer consultants in town who could do that for you. Also, if you could find a trustworthy, honest high school student, who is computer savvy, you could probably get it done for less cost.

Perhaps the best of both worlds would be Ed Togami, whose son, Kenzie, is just such a kid. He's done work for me before, and is trustworthy, hard working, and very computer savvy. [Most of the kids at the Dos Pueblos Engineering academy would fit that description.] 685-6237
