Today's Weather - Areas of low clouds and fog in the morning then partly cloudy. Fog locally dense with visibility one quarter mile or less. Highs in the 70s except the lower to mid 80s in the hills. Southwest winds around 15 mph in the afternoon.

August 2, 2014 - Dignified Dignitaries

Members of the Dedicated Staff danced the night away as dignified dignitaries at the Celebracion de Los Dignatarios on Thursday evening at the Santa Barbara Zoo. In true Santa Barbara fashion there was great food, music, and drink. Locals (including several edhat subscribers and even a columnist) gathered atop the Zoo's grassy knoll to enjoy it all.
