PEQUENA EARLY BIRDS TOLD TO STAY OFF THE GRASS FOR NOW

Early set ups will not be allowed on the grassy areas around the Santa Barbara Old Mission where thousands will come out for tomorrow's Fiesta Pequena event. It's the official start of Old Spanish Days, now in its 90th year.

Today, crews were setting up the lights, seats and camera locations. To get a great viewing spot, however will require patience. No chairs, blankets or cordoned off areas will be allowed until sunrise tomorrow. Signs are posted on the mission lawns to keep the areas clear until then.

The show begins at 8 tomorrow night.
