Scanner Reports 7-28-14
updated: Jul 28, 2014, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Happy Monday-Monday. I hope all is well. Ever since I was a teeny tiny little kid hundreds of years ago I have been hearing of the Government spying on Americans by listening to their phone calls and reading about conspiracy theories in magazines long before there were computers. I always believed in the spying but never let it rule my life with paranoia. Pretty much the same beliefs with other things; also life in the Universe, ghosts, Shadow People, Good and Evil. Why not? I have a hard time believing that we are the only ones here to rule the Universe even so it's not something I think about every day. There is something that has me wondering though or I wouldn't have written any of this down. Whenever I have lived in rural areas where there is spraying of farm raised foods, or orchards, especially orchards, I get ill easier. It's probably from the spraying of chemicals in the air to prevent bugs from munching down on all our grub. So what's with all these Chem Trails? A couple weeks ago they were totally crisscrossing our skies with dozens of trails back and forth. Now there's a fruit recall because of illness. What are some of your thoughts on Chem trails? Go ahead call me nuts I've been called worse. I'm curious what everyone else thinks about those chem trails. Feel free to speak of anything else if you like also.

I'm also forever curious about the parks, and the suspicious circumstances/rape call in Oak Park. Not interested in anything personal about it just wondering if the suspect or suspects have been caught. If it was a homeless woman are they being targeted? That sort of stuff. Belinda is still doing real good; quite a change, even though she's a bit of a booger, I'd rather she be this way than the way she was before. I gave her a coke one day she took a sip and got dizzy looked at me and said "I can't drink anymore; I can't even drink a coke." I won't be calling her Ballistic Belinda anymore. She's doing good I'm proud of her. She went back to cigarettes though; those are hard to quit. I have the candy cigarettes there's not a lot of sugar in em ok to chomp on once in a while, every 20 seconds.

The shingles are still a real pain but I better not talk about them much I'll be called names. Let's see "Thin skinned, Sissy Boy, Big Baby, etc, etc. I've always been a bit of a whiny Baby when I'm not feeling good. I'm pretty sure other men are like that but won't admit it because they are not as insane as I am.

Anyway I just heard the 3rd request for Rape Crisis to respond somewhere this week end. I'm not sure if that means there have been 2 or 3 rapes this weekend. There was an additional Sexual Assault report with a male as the victim on the Northside of town Saturday. Time to brush up on the Self Defense, and or pick up some defense aide pepper spray, wasp spray, I haven't heard a lot of information on these rape cases so don't know if they are random, or date rapes, I guess we will have to wait and see.

Will another Fiesta is coming up and I gotta say out of all the Summer Celebrations here this one is my favorite. For years now I haven't gone but still have wonderful memories of past Fiestas. John Palminteri serving up Pancakes and coffee at the Saturday morning breakfast in Alameda Park, I don't know if he still does that. Many memories of Parade watching, guarding at the Mercados and private parties. Guarding the Carriage Museum a couple nights before the parade. Sometimes your memories can get you thru. I haven't gone to anything Fiesta for a long time. Every year I say I'm going to the church on the Eastside but I never do of course it wouldn't be Fiesta for me if I didn't say I'm really going to try and show up at the church this year.
