I am looking for someone who can make some custom-made pants that fit me well and are to my specifications - the waistband, the closure (side), the fabric (some stretch), the width of the leg (kind of palazzo), etc. Anybody in the greater Santa Barbara area who does this well for under $500?

Try G.A.V.A.S. I have heard good things about them.

Wow, I had wondered what had happened to MZ Sewing -- in 1990 I used her to make a wedding gown using parts of my MIL's 1949 gown. It came out absolutely gorgeous and cost very little. She had a store on the Mesa at the time.
