Coaches Found Not Guilty of Battery

Two former wrestling coaches were found not guilty of battery by a jury in Santa Maria on Wednesday, reports the Santa Ynez Valley News.

Chad Johnson and Matthew Giles, two former Cabrillo High School wrestling coaches in Lompoc, were charged this past March with with battery on a minor and contributing to the delinquency of minors. They were accused of orchestrating an assault on one of their wrestlers to be committed by other members of the wrestling team.
