July 21, 2014 - Brief Drizzle

Edhat subscribers frantically reported rain drops as they started to fall late Saturday afternoon. Commenters were excited to report where they were when the sky water hit, what time they felt it, and the approximate amount of drops that landed. The rain only lasted about 20 minutes but that was enough of a stir for the Dedicated Staff to realize their rain dancing worked, specifically to the beat of 80's glam rock which they are certain played a major role. Another subscriber snapped the photo of the day showing proof of a heavy drizzle on Sunday morning as well. It may not be much, but we'll take it! Now crank up the Def Leppard and start grooving.

In local news, edhat received several reports of gunshots in the Tunrpike area late Saturday night, a traffic accident was reported on Hwy 101 near Fairview, and edhatters discuss free music in Old Town Goleta. Read these stories and more, below.
