Bird Identification
updated: Jul 17, 2014, 1:00 PM

I found this bird on the hood of my car this morning and knew right away that he was not well. I pet his little wing and he just lifted his head up and looked at me then tucked it back down. So, I called the SB Wildlife Care Network and prepared a box to bring him in for them to check out. Well, when I went back outside to get him (only a few minutes after I first saw him), he was lying on the driveway, dead. The whole event has been weighing on my mind and I wanted to at least know what kind of bird he is. I never really paid much attention to the many different little birds in our area, but this has been somewhat of an awakening, if you will. I tried Google but there are so many different brown little birds, so I thought I'd ask here, knowing that someone would be able to ID him quickly
