Two Candyman Wrongful Death Suits Settle

Two wrongful-death lawsuits against the pharmacies involved in the Julio Diaz "Candyman" case have settled, reports The Independent.

Santa Barbara physician Julio Diaz was arrested in January of 2012 for 11 federal drug trafficking charges of allegedly writing prescriptions for powerful painkillers. Two patients under Diaz passed away and their families have settled their wrongful-death lawsuits with the pharmacies.
