Gas Appliance Disposal
updated: Jul 03, 2014, 8:30 AM

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I should take a non-working gas pressure washer for disposal? Is it just the county dump or is there a better location?

if you take it to the county dump i believe that there is a disposal fee, but if you take it to the recycling center on gutierrez street then just drop it off and your good.

Curbside in my neighborhood. If you take it to the dump, remember to remove the fluids.

Free section in Craig's List. Someone may know how to repair it and it lives alittle longer.

ditto Craig's list or Freecycle online. if you need help, a neighbor could help you list it.

If you try and give it away, no one will take it.

Put it on the street with a 'For Sale, $50' sign on it. and

It'll be gone in 1/2 an hour.

966-4468. That's the number for Iron & Metal Recyclers on Gutierrez and (I think) Quarantina Sts.

It looks like your unit might have some recyclable metals in it, right? Call them and see if they'll give you a few cents. You will feel good about recycling it, too.

Maybe someone can cannibalize it for parts? Or Marborg recycle.
