June 20, 2014 - Wet Wednesday Races

A subscriber shared a few photos from this week's Wet Wednesday races. Every Wednesday from March through October, hundreds of sailors of all ages and about 60 boats of differing sizes are out on the water competing in the Santa Barbara Yacht Club's Wet Wednesday races. The two boats pictured here are named "Rock and Roll" and "Viper".

In local news, the Coast Guard provided an update on their clean up and removal efforts at Point Conception, Montecito residents have been hit with drought penalties, and the Dedicated Staff gear up to count the number of drums in this year's Solstice parade. Read these stories and more below.
